2014-2015 Linn Mar Key Club

The 2014-2015 Linn Mar Key Club is having an OUTSTANDING year.  They have 180 dues paying members, the largest Key Club in the Nebraska-Iowa District.  They had over 100 members make tie-blankets that were donated to the Young Parents Network, Waypoint, an agency that provides shelter and support for women and families in crisis, and Veterans.  They held a personal products drive and delivered the collected products to Waypoint.  They joined with the Linn Mar Robotics club to collect food for the Marion Food Pantry.  They raked leaves at the Granger House Museum.  They sold flowers the week of Valentine’s Day as a fundraiser.  They made beaded bookmarks which were distributed to cancer patients by the Gems of Hope organization.  The Key Club is currently planning a Mini Dance Marathon for April 11, 2015.  The proceeds from this event will benefit the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Oncology patients and families.                                                    03-04-2015
